Alexandra "Lexxy" Douglass

For Immediate Release 4-25-13 Alexandra "Lexxy" Douglass, IU grad and Collins alum, is a contestant on an internet reality show to select the best promising webcomic strip artist, Strip Search. The show airs on youtube and PATV Tuesdays and Fridays. Strip Search is produced by Penny Arcade, one of the world’s most popular and longest running webcomics. The winner of the show will receive a cash prize, free office space at Penny Arcade HQ in Seattle, business services, and other benefits for one year to boost their webcomic careers. Lexxy graduated from Center Grove High School in Greenwood and attended Indiana University, Bloomington, earning degrees in Studio Art and Japanese. She lives in Carmel, Indiana, and is a full-time freelance fantasy and science fiction illustrator as well as art blogger. Win or loose, she plans to launch an online graphic novel, The Cloud Factory, in July of this year.
